Women Are Failing the U.S. Army’s New Gender Neutral Physical Test

How’s that “equality” hogwash working out for ya?

Don’t get us wrong…

We believe in equality… equal opportunity, equal and fair treatment under the law, and equal rights for all.

However, when it comes to genders, it is possible for there to be differences… clearly.

You can be different but equal.

But that’s not what the left wants you to believe.

The left wants you to believe that you must be the same in order to be equal.

It’s this ridiculous thinking and “logic” that led the U.S. Army to create a gender neutral physical test.

Why?

Because… “men and women are equal.”

But apparently not.

With the gender neutral standards, women are now FAILING the military tests left and right.

You read that correctly: with the even and equalized test, women are FAILING at disproportionately higher numbers compared to men.

This has the army reconsidering these gender neutral tests.

Do you think the liberal snowflake minds are exploding yet?

More details on this hilarious development below:

The sad part about this story is that it was so obvious.

Anyone with two brain cells could have told you it would happen.

So… apparently liberals just have one 😉

According to the Daily Wire:

The United States Army is reportedly considering doing away with its new “gender-neutral physical test” after test results showed that the majority of women failed while approximately 90 percent of men passed. Officials are reportedly considering having different evaluation categories for men and women due to the physiological differences between the two.

“Research showed that the Army Combat Fitness Test [ACFT], which is the same for male and female soldiers, was leading to lower results for women with a knock-on effect for promotions,” The Telegraph reported. “An early Pentagon study showed that women were failing the ACFT at a rate of 65 per cent, while only 10 percent of men did.”

A report from last fall found that 54 percent of women failed the test while only 7 percent of men failed it.

The report said that Congress, which is controlled by the Democrats, stopped the new program from being implemented and the Army is reviewing whether it is fair. Congress does not want the test as it is current constructed to factor into opportunities for advancement, the report said.

“In the ACFT there are six events – the maximum deadlift, a standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, a sprint, drag and carry, leg tuck, and a two-mile run,” the report added. “To pass the test those taking it must score at least 360 points out of a possible 600, and those who achieve higher scores are more likely to be promoted. However, average scores for women so far are said to have been 100 points lower.”

The report said that officials were expected to change the way that at least one of the exercises could be completed, which they said improved women’s test scores.

Congress has now declared that the test in its current form should not be a factor in deciding whether someone gets promoted. Officials were also considering whether to use “gender-specific” percentile groupings when it came time to review potential promotions.

“All they are going to see for evaluation is which percentile the soldier falls into,” an Army official told Military.com last month. “The gender identity will not be included in that information. If anything, it’s a more gender-neutral assessment process because it doesn’t show the raw scores.”

Captain Kristen Griest, the Army’s first female infantry officer, wrote last month that “lowering fitness standards to accommodate women will hurt the Army–and women.”

Griest said that implementing “gender-based scoring” or reducing “the minimum standards for combat arms” would “have both immediate and insidious impacts on combat effectiveness, as well as on women’s credibility and potential.”

“The entire purpose of creating a gender-neutral test was to acknowledge the reality that each job has objective physical standards to which all soldiers should be held, regardless of gender,” she wrote. “The intent was not to ensure that women and men will have an equal likelihood of meeting those standards. Rather, it is incumbent upon women who volunteer for the combat arms profession to ensure they are fully capable and qualified for it. To not require women to meet equal standards in combat arms will not only undermine their credibility, but also place those women, their teammates, and the mission at risk.”

The timing of this news could not be worse.

Joe Biden is weakening America’s security at a time when China is showing strength, Russia is up to no good, and terrorists are slowly rebuilding their networks.

All of this ON TOP OF the crisis at the border.

The left has weakened our military at a time when the world is becoming more dangerous.

The story gets even worse.

How?

Well… now our foreign enemies know that our military is weaker thanks to these outrageous tests and “woke” standards.

Foreign news sources from France to Russia to India to New Zealand are covering this story.

This means that our enemies know how woke-ism is destroying our defense system.

According to the New Zealand Herald:

The US army is considering scrapping its new gender neutral fitness test because women have been failing in much larger numbers than men.

Research showed that the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), which is the same for male and female soldiers, was leading to lower results for women with a knock-on effect for promotions.

An early Pentagon study showed women were failing the ACFT at a rate of 65 per cent, compared with 10 per cent for men. Congress has halted implementation of the new test and the army has begun an independent review into whether it is fair. It has been suggested that the standard test could be evaluated differently for men and women.

The test includes six events – a maximum deadlift, a standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, a sprint, drag and carry, leg tuck, and a two-mile run. Those taking it must score at least 360 points out of a possible 600, and those who achieve higher scores are more likely to be promoted.

However, average scores for women so far are said to have been 100 points lower.

Congress has now declared that the test in its current form should not be a factor in deciding whether someone gets promoted. Expected changes include how core body strength is tested in the leg tuck. Instead of hanging from a bar and tucking legs to their chest, soldiers will instead be given the option of doing a two-minute plank exercise. Early research showed female soldiers’ scores improved with the plank option.

Last month, an army official said a possible solution for the gulf in test scores was using “gender-specific” percentile groupings when considering promotions. Rather than using their raw scores, men and women would separately be categorised in the top 1 per cent, top 10 per cent, and so on.

An army officer told Military.com: “We have to figure out a way to make it fair to both genders.”

Can our military forget about virtue signaling?

Instead, focus on your job: keeping America safe!
